Hi everyone,

Cainex began with a simple but ambitious belief: that artificial intelligence should think with clinicians, not just for them, understanding medicine through reasoning, context, and collaboration.

At ASA 2025, we shared that vision publicly for the first time. Seeing clinicians, coders, and executives gather around our demo — asking questions, challenging assumptions, and connecting it to their own work — was deeply inspiring. It reminded us that true innovation in healthcare isn’t measured only in speed or accuracy, but in trust.

Our approach to agentic AI is built on that principle. Cainex doesn’t just automate tasks; it learns from expert feedback, explains its reasoning, and grows more capable with every interaction. Each exchange strengthens the loop between human and machine, helping hospitals move faster without losing control and understanding.

We’ll use this space to share occasional reflections, learnings, and progress from our team — Tony Mira, Sue Mira, Dr. Uriah Israel, Dr. Yisong Yue, and others — as we continue building toward a new standard for human–AI collaboration in healthcare.

Thank you for being part of the beginning. What comes next will depend on the people willing to build with care, curiosity, and conviction. We’re grateful you’re among them.
